Today marked the beginning of our highly anticipated Kids’ Coding Holiday Bootcamp, and it was nothing short of amazing! We are thrilled to have 11 enthusiastic children joining us on this exciting journey into the world of technology. The atmosphere was filled with curiosity and excitement as we kicked off the first day of the bootcamp with an engaging and informative session.
Our day started with a warm welcome to all the participants. The children, ranging from ages 7 to 17, arrived with bright smiles and eager minds, ready to embark on this educational adventure. It was heartwarming to see the diverse group of young learners, each bringing their unique energy and perspective to the bootcamp.
The first week of our bootcamp is dedicated to theory, laying a solid foundation for the practical sessions to come. Today, we introduced the children to the fascinating world of computer science. We began by discussing what computer science is and its importance in today’s digital age. The children were captivated as we explored the basics of how computers work, the different types of software, and the role of algorithms.
Exploring Tech Career Paths
One of the highlights of the day was our session on tech career paths. We delved into the various opportunities that a strong foundation in tech can provide. From software development and artificial intelligence to web design and cybersecurity, we painted a picture of the exciting and diverse careers that await those who master these skills.
